Co Driver - "Stars" Peugeot 106
Simon Taylor has been a fan of rallying from a young age, spectating
on the Lombard RAC and Network Q Rallies as soon as he was old enough to
drive himself there.
He has been a co-driver since 2003. His first multi-venue event was straight
in at the deep end on the Pirelli Rally in 2003, in a treacherously dark and
foggy Keilder Forest with Andrew Apperley in a N4 Subaru Impreza. The pair
were 2nd in class in 2003 and came 2nd in the Prodrive cup in 2004. In 2005
Simon partnered 1990 BTRDA British Rallycross Champion Richard Sykes in the
Peugeot 206 Cup. They had what Simon calls an "unlucky" year and finished
only a handful of events.
2006 sees Simon dividing his time between the Stars of the Future series
with Glenda and the BTRDA series alongside Richard Sykes, also in a Peugeot
106.
